At the largest Adobe Photoshop training event in the world, Photoshop World 2007, Wacom has revealed the new high-end tablet Cintiq 12WX for the Korean market.

Having a 12.1-inch high-resolution TFT active matrix LCD display, and a 16:10 surface, the tablet can be used as a tablet and a dual monitor, by simply pressing the button located on the left-top.
It is a light-weight device of 1.8kg with a smooth, flat surface that can be easily hold in hands for you to do your sketch work on it.



With this slim and durable tablet you can create pen, brush, and eraser strokes on its tilt, rotation and pressure-sensitive surface of 1,024 levels.

On both sides of the device you will encounter the ExpressKeys which can be assigned with your favorite keys or macros to let you forget your keyboard.
You can use your fingers directly on the tablet because of the Touch Strip which makes it similar to a laptop’s touchpad.

There is no need for cords or battery because it supplies the input device itself.

In order to use the Cintiq 12WX tablet you need to have Windows 2000/XP/Vista or Macintosh OS X 10.3.9 installed, a CD-ROM drive and a powered USB port.

The product will be released for the markets this month and the package will contain the Interactive Pen Display, the Grip Pen, a Pen stand, 5 replacement pen nibs, converter Unit for USB, DVI or VGA connection, power supply with power cable, the manual, a quick start guide, the installation CD with drivers and software and a bundle software CD.
