On May 7, at the 2008 National Hardware Show that took place in Las Vegas, several products were awarded during the Homewares Show, and one of the winners is a laptop accessory designed by LightWedge called the USB FLEX NECK LIGHT.
USB FLEX NECK LIGHT

This is a notebook light for use in low light conditions if your keyboard doesn’t have backlight.

It has a flexible metal neck featuring 2 LEDs and a detachable base which can be easily placed near a USB port of your notebook via the clip, and it provides the option to power it via its battery.
