Ultimate Gaming Laptop

Why? Try to visualize the following configuration: Intel Core 2 Quad Extreme QX9300 (12MB Cache, 1066MHz FSB), 8GB of DDR3 memory at 1333 MHz frequency, two NVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics cards with 1GB memory 280M in SLI configuration, a Blu-ray Combo optical drive, 500 GB hard drive speed of 7200 RPM and a 17-inch screen capable of a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels.

Another great choice, in my opinion is the Toshiba Qosmio X300-14U. The Toshiba Qosmio X300-14U represents something fresh and less customizable than the Alienware laptop described before, but it certainly has something to say at the performance chapter. The chassis of this laptop looks perfect and the sound is simply impeccable because of the Harman Kardon audio system with five speakers: two for common areas, two trebles and one bass.
The processor is a "modest" Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9300 working at frequency of 2.53 GHz. Qosmio X300-14U is a gaming laptop after all so you should feel the power of two NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GTS graphics cards in SLI configuration with 2 x 512 MB memory. You might also get up to 1791 MB TurboCache technology. You would have to be mad to get more than the 4 GB of RAM because it combines perfectly with the rest of the configuration. The total amount of storage space on this unit is 640 GB which should be more than enough.

I have to admit that I have never heard of the Battalion 101 D900F before but I have found they produce an amazing gaming laptop. The chassis does not look at all spectacular compared to the Alienware and Toshiba models, but what is under the "hood" will certainly provide you with a first class gaming experience. On their website you can configure your own D900F Battalion 101. Starting with the processor, the most powerful choice is the new Intel Core i7 975 Extreme Edition. To be more specific, you get four cores running at 3.33 GHz frequency, a true delight.
The 17-inch screen has resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, which entitles you to install and a Blu-ray drive. The only option is 6GB RAM from Corsair DDR3, not at all bad. In conclusion, which is the best laptop for you? Try to keep in mind that you may have a tight budget and even if the Alienware sounds like the best choice, it is still pretty expensive…
