Two New Notebooks from Samsung Launched in Germany: Aura T5250 Danica and T7500 Daargon
Posted by: Sierra in Samsung
Samsung has released two new models from the Aura series, called R60-Aura T5250 Danica and Q70-Aura T7500 Daargon, both running on the Windows Vista Home Premium platform.

Both versions have a RAM memory of 2GB, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g and 10/100 Ethernet communication technologies support, a Diamant-Schwarz
Protect-o-Edge housing and a SilverNano keyboard.
The difference starts with their names, meaning that the Danica model incorporates an Intel Core 2 Duo T5250 processor of 1.50 GHz, while the Daargon runs with the T7500 version of the Intel processor at 2.2 GHz.
Danica is a cheaper model that stores up to 160GB of HDD, a SATA type with 5400rpm, and the Daargon has more, 200GB of HDD SATA but with 4200rpm.

Even the display is bigger on Danica, measuring 15.4 inches, a WXGA LCD with SuperBright technology for the clearest view and a perfect color rendering, and a resolution of 1.280 x 800 pixels.
Daargon has the same screen resolution but its display measures less, 13.3 inches.
The graphic cards differ.
Danica comes with an ATI Radeon Express X1250 with 128 MB dedicated memory, while the Daargon notebook video card is an Nvidia GeForce 8400 G model but also with 128 MB of its own.
Both are equipped with DVD-Super-Multi Double Layer optical drivers.
Coming back to the communication sector, we have to mention that the Danica’s specifications don’t include the Bluetooth 2.0 support, as in Daargon’s.
Daargon notebook has a battery life of up to 6 hours, which means double compared with the Danica’s battery.

And now I have to tell you the prices.
As I said, Danica has not so many features as Daargon, and it costs €899, while the other model is offered at a price of €1.499.
You can find both model on the German Samsung website.
