Everex unveiled the new StepNote NC1500 notebook PC that runs on the VIA C7-M processor, making it one of the most energy-efficient notebooks around. Expect 1.5GHz performance at just 12W peak power.The Everex StepNote NC1500 comes with a 15.4" widescreen display featuring DiamondBrite technology, and is pre-installed with Windows XP Home Edition, keeping costs low. Main memory is set at 512MB DDR2 SDRAM, while storage is taken care by the 60GB 4200-rpm PATA hard drive.
Other goodies include integrated 56k modem and LAN. Priced at US $498, the Everex StepNote NC1500 will definitely save on your power bills.
