NEC LaVie G Type L LaptopsNEC expands its LaVie lineup with the “G Type L”, which packs an AMD Mobile Sempron 3100+ (1.80-GHz) processor, 512MB of DDR2 SDRAM, 80GB hard drive, DVD Super-Multi drive, and 15.4-inch WXGA display into a 6.8-pound frame. External interfaces include, four USB 2.0 ports, a FireWire port, 802.11 a/b/g Wi-Fi, 3-in-1 memory card reader, and a Type 2 PC Card slot. Available in lime green, it goes on sale later this month in Japan.
