Powergorilla for Portable Laptop Battery Charging
Posted by: Sierra in Accesories, Peripherals & Components

While weighing only 634 grams at 220 x 130 x 15 mm, powergorilla supports up to 24 volts, allowing you to switch between 5, 16, 19 or 24 volts until you will see the required setting on the computer monitor. At that moment you can start connecting your device for charging, or, why not, 2 devices, like the cell phone and the laptop at the same time.
The Powergorilla will give you an extra 2-5 hours of power, depending on your laptop's specification, and over 20 hours on various other electronic devices. Things seem very flexible.

About the design we learned that the new portable laptop charging device from powertraveller has an aluminum casing to make it lightweight, and also a slim form factor, but with a solid construction plus rubber protection, which makes it shock resistant.
Security features include output auto-lock, voltage limitation protection, short circuit protection, over charging protection and over heat protection. All these details from the specification list seem to be real, as the device was tested in extreme environment conditions such as hot temperatures in Afghanistan.

At the price of £150, the powergorilla portable laptop charging device comes together with a neoprene travel case, tip pack containing 8 male and 7 female laptop connectors, a tip pack containing connectors for most small devices, a 12 volts car charger socket, and the universal AC laptop charger.
