I am not a fan of Genius' gadgets since I had the chance to test one of their web cameras and a slim keyboard and discover some design issues, but I have to recognize that the company produces attractive devices, such as this new mouse with laser technology, called ScrollToo T955 Laser.
It is not only a laser mouse but also uses the wireless technology for connectivity with your laptop compuer, which is an important requirement many gadgets have to meet these days.



ScrollToo T955 Laser wireless computer mouse has a touch-sensitive scroll area that enables 8-way scrolling through web pages and documents, while you can adjust the scrolling speed according to your needs.
It connects to the notebook using a micro receiver that plugs into one of the free USB ports and features 2.4GHz technology, which is used also by the Bluetooth standard because it avoids interference.

The Genius wireless computer mouse has a comfortable design and piano black finish that adds more style to its overall look, while providing 1600 dpi laser tracking.
You can use it with your Windows or Mac operating system after inserting two AAA batteries.
There's no word on the operating time though.

The famous Eee PC known as the most affordable portable computer available, which provides basic functionalities for everyday tasks in different configurations and colors, has gathered many awards for its concept and this Christmas was, for the second time, among the most favorite Christmas Gifts, according to statistics and sales registered in this period.
After Asus' model many other PC manufacturer started to develop similar systems, as the number of customers interested in smaller computer grew.

The Eee PC was named Product of the Year for 2008 by Forbes, the Gadget of the Year by the Stuff Magazine, the Best Travel Gadget by NBC, Best Notebook of 2008 by Computer Shopper, and also received a G-Mark Award.
Other awards include the 2008 International CES Innovations Design and Engineering Award, the Taiwan Excellence Gold Award 2008 and 76 more.

As I mentioned previously, according to the Asus press release, the mini computer was voted in December 2007 as The Most Wanted Christmas Gift by no other than Amazon, while this year it continued to attract more and more computer users looking for standard performance in the smallest form factor existent, without paying extra.
Asus Eee PC seems to have convinced everybody that operating it becomes Easy to Work, Easy to Learn and Easy to Play.

MSI’s latest solution for portable entertainment and high performance is the VR705 notebook model sporting a large 17-inch widescreen display with the Active Crystal Vision technology that improves imaging. The key feature of the new laptop is its capability of displaying multiple windows allowing you to watch movies and work at the same time, at a resolution of 1440 x 900.

It weighs 3.2Kg with the battery, maintaining a slim profile, and runs with the Intel Core 2 Duo processing technology including the ECO Engine with five power modes which you can switch between to match your current application’s needs.

The MSI VR705 high performance laptop integrates a 1.3MP web camera for web chat, microphone, a 4-in-1 card reader, three USB ports, full-sized keyboard, support for up to 4GB of system memory, High Definition audio via the two speakers, up to 320GB S-ATA hard drive, DVD burner, HDMI port, and the NVIDIA MCP79 graphics chipset.

Matching from 12-inch to 15-inch laptop computers, the Xaser S1000 is the newest external high performance laptop cooler released by Thermaltake. As it features a hard construction, you could use it as a laptop stand with cooling capabilities, on flat surfaces such as your office desk and adjust its dual silent blue LED 7-cm fans according to your computer needs.
This cool design is characterized by black aluminum cover, a compact form factor for portability, ergonomic angles, and multi-vent adapter-free construction.

It powers via your notebook’s USB port and when not in use it stores the USB cable in a special designed location.

You can see when it is right connected to the computer by looking at the power indicator.
is a professional laptop stand with cooler, supporting computer sizes of 320 x 100 x 30 mm, and featuring a fan size of 70 x 70 x 10 mm, 5V voltage, 0.20A current, 0~1200 rotations per minute speed, 18dBA noise and a weight of 390 grams.



The price of the high performance laptop cooler is not known yet.

Last December we had the pleasure to see the beauty of NEC LaVie G Hello Kitty Edition, a popular fashionable notebook model from one of the leading portable systems manufacturer, ornated with multi-reflexive Swarovski crystals and additional accessories branded by Sanrio, such as Hello Kitty flash drives and a mouse.



This December NEC introduced a new LaVie L series notebook called NEC LL750, a model featuring a 15.4-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.
It runs with the Intel Core 2 Duo processing technology at a speed of 2.4 GHz and integrates 4 GB of system memory to support more tasks performed simultaneously.

In addition, it offers 320 GB of hard drive capacity for ample storage, HDMI connectivity for high definition link to a compatible TV, as well as other common laptop features.
Even if it is not a high-end computer if you take int account the technology level, but, like all the LaVie models, the HDMI output laptop maintains the stylish design line coming in four cool colors – white, black, pink and red.
It is available at around $1,450 in Japanese stores.
