The high end Toshiba Satellite M115-S3154 Notebook laptop featuring Intel mobile and wireless4 technologies, feature's a 14.1 inch widescreen(measured diagonally) display with TruBrite Technology, the notebook offers plenty of flexibility in storage and performance.

The new Toshiba Satellite M115-S3154 Notebook is powered by an Intel Core Duo processor running at 1.6Ghz and comes loaded with Genuine Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 OS. The device comes packed with 512MB RAM, 80GB HDD (5400rpm), 5-in-1 Bridge Media Adapter and DVD-SuperMulti drive (+/-R double layer).

On the connectivity side, the Toshiba Satellite M115-S3154 Notebook misses out on blue-tooth but includes Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG (802.11a/b/g) LAN, 4-USB (2.0), i.LINK™ IEEE-1394 and S video TV out.

When former Intel CEO Craig Barret told us laptops of the future would come with two screens, we mocked him.

Attendees of the 2003 Intel Developer Forum had to physically restrain themselves from throwing rotten tomatoes, such was the ludicrousness of the proposal. Seriously, does anyone even use the second screen on their mobile phone?

The series of laptops, codenamed Newport, were said to have a main screen and an additional external display built into the top of the lid. These could be used to scan emails, access a calendar, check network connections and monitor downloads without having to fire up the laptop.

It sounded like a total gimmick at the time, (why not just open the lid?) but we've just taken a look at the Asus W5Fe, one of the first Newport laptops, and have to concede the second screen could come in useful. It comes with its own power switch, a four-way directional pad with a central selector button, and a menu button for choosing which task you want to perform.

Toshiba's budget oriented M115 series gets another addition in Toshiba Satellite M115-S1061 Notebook, a thin, light and value-priced laptop that is designed exclusively for consumers who are looking for basic computing functions in a laptop.

Featuring a 14.1 inch display with TruBrite Technology, the Toshiba Satellite M115-S1061 Notebook houses a Celeron M processor running at 1.6Hz under its hood. The system gets a 512MB RAM, the only highlight, and a Radeon Xpress 200M with a paltry 64MB of Shared Memory.

Other specs include 80GB HDD, Atheros Wireless LAN (802.11b/g), and 4-USB (2.0) ports. The audio includes, SRS TruSurround XT virtual surround sound, Microphone jack (mono), Headphone jack (stereo), SRS WOW stereo sound, Standard stereo speakers.

Another addition to the M115 line of notebooks from Toshiba is the Toshiba Satellite M115-S3104 notebook. Available in an elegant Mist gray colour, the notebook has got more to offer than just eye catching design and looks. Targeted mainly at consumers who are looking for a laptop with basic computing functions and with some additional multimedia flexibility.

Starting at 5.2 lbs, it gets Core Duo processor (T2050 1.6Ghz), Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 and 80GB 5400rpm HDD. It gets an upgrade in the memory department from the previous model, 1GB RAM.The new Toshiba Satellite M115-S3104 includes Graphics Media Accelerator 950 with 8MB-224MB dynamically allocated shared graphics memory.

The Digital Products Division (DPD) of Toshiba America rolled out the latest additions to the popular A105 notebook PCs featuring the Intel Core 2 Duo processor. The Toshiba Satellite A105-S4344 is based on the new Intel Core Microarchitecture and features a new Onyx Blue metallic color.

The Toshiba Satellite A105-S4344 comes pre-installed with Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, and is branded Vista Ready. Other features include a DVD burner (capable of writing 11 formats) and a 200GB SATA hard drive, along with wireless LAN.

The Toshiba Satellite A105-S4344 laptop carries a price tag of US $1,399.99 and is now available.
