Under the title Most Powerful Laptop on Earth, comes the Orca Extreme from CompAmerica which is said to be capable of what CAD CAM workstations can do and supports the next-generation high-graphics-demanding games.

An Orca Extreme portable machine integrates the latest dual SLI technology from the two Nvidia 7950GT with up to 1GB dedicated memory, and runs on either an Intel Core 2 Duo Extreme X6800 at 2.93GHz or the E6700 at 2.66GHz, with the possibility to add up to three mobile HDDs having 200GB each and Raid 0, 1 and 5 support.

The display is a 17-inch Glass View LCD with a high resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels or 1680 x 1050 pixels and the optical drive is a Dual Layer DVD burner.

    I'm fairly certain there are notebooks being made with 8800m GTXs or in SLI, which would make them more powerful than this by a fair margin. Even a single 8800m GTX would be a bit better than SLI 7950s, I think.

    Just my two cents. (Of course, the 8800m GTX is far more expensive)
