OQO released the e2 pocket PC model that besides its ultra portability is equipped with the latest technologies making it one of the most powerful portable PCs at the moment.

It is powered by a VIA C7M ULV processor at 1.6GHz, integrates 1GB of DDR II SDRAM memory at 533 MHz speed, has up to 120GB of hard drive storage and the VIA VX700 chipset, while for connectivity it comes with built-in HSDPA.
In addition, it supports Wi-Fi 802.11a/ b/ g and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR.
The mobile broadband is optional, this including UMTS/HSDPA 2100MHz and GSM/GPRS/EDGE 900/1800MHz support.

You can choose between a 60GB, 80GB, 120 GB of HDD and the latest 32GB SSD drive type.
The HDD is shock-mounted and is ultra resistant, built based on the drop detect technology.

For input, it provides a backlit thumb keyboard with SmartLock keys, 18 function keys, a number pad, and dedicated mouse and zoom buttons, while it includes ports for HDMI, VGA, Ethernet, HDMI-DVI, docking/power and USB.

You can work on the OQO e2 for up to 6 hours, the model integrating a Li-Ion Polymer battery type with a standard capacity of 4500mAh and a double one of 9000mAh.

Its Wide VGA LCD with active digitizer display measures 5 inches, has a native resolution of 800x480, and provides controls for the ambient light sensor plus adjustable brightness.

OQO e2 comes in a rugged magnesium alloy chassis and provides several security features such as universal security slot, VIA Padlock hardware AES encryption engine, and the Atmel TPM v1.2.

The pre-installed operating systems available are Windows Vista Ultimate, Windows Vista Business, Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005, and Windows XP Professional.
OQO e2 is a relatively-expensive Pocket PC, available at a price around $2,500, depending on the final configuration.
