OCZ Technology Group, a leader in the industry of designing, developing and manufacturing of high-end memory and computer components, came at CES 2008 with its latest innovative products including the Hypersonic Aero notebook series of 17 inches and 15.4 inches.
Both Hypersonic Aero AR5 and Aero AR7 are extremely thin and rich in features, designed to provide the best performance and mobility.

Aero AR5 features a 15.4-inch display, WXGA TFT type with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, an Intel Core 2 Duo CPU with Intel PM965 chipset, up to 2GB DRAM SODIMM memory, the NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT video card with 512 DDR2 SGRAM memory, a 2.5-inch HDD Bay S-ATA for up to 250GB of storage, and the following connectivity and communication equipments: Ethernet LAN, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, built-in camera, modem, VGA, S-VIDEO, USB, Express Card, HDMI, and a 4-in-1 Card Reader (MS/MS PRO/SD/MMC).

The notebook features also a built-in HD audio system with 3D Stereo enhancing and 4 built-in speakers & Subwoofer.
Next there is the DVD-RW/CD-RW/Combo Drive Dual Layer.
For the user input, AR5 comes with the touch-sensitive hot-key panel and integrated touchpad.

The other notebook, AR7 has a 17-inch WUXGA TFT display with a resolution of 1680x1050 pixels, the Intel Core 2 Duo technology, up to 2GB DRAM memory with Dual Channel Memory Architecture, an NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT GPU with512MB DDR2 SGRAM, built-in HD audio like in the previous model, a DVD-RW/CD-RW/Combo Drive Dual Layer, and the 2.5-inch HDD Bay S-ATA for up to 250GB storage.

For connectivity and communications, it comes with the same features as the AR5.

AR5 is available at $1,549.99 while the AR7 model costs $1,714.99.
