NVIDIA GeForce 8800M GTX for Notebooks Coming Soon

NVIDIA GeForce 8800M GTX Coming SoonIn November we’ll have the pleasure to welcome a new high performance video card from NVIDIA and use it in our gaming notebooks, maybe replacing the Go 7950 GTX SLI model.

The GeForce 8800M GTX is a DirectX 10 compatible graphic card having its own 512MB memory.

Notebooks have some specific thermal and power consumption requirements therefore this video card model operates at lower clock speeds compared with the 8800 GT for desktops.

At the moment I can’t tell you the exact clock speed, or the Pixel Shader number, but it was made public that the card has a MXM Type III form factor meaning 82mm width and 100mm length.
