Notus A12

Notus A12

Back in April I was presenting to you a brief description of the new notebook from Zepto, and now we have all the details about it. Notus’ name comes from Greek and represents the God of the Wind, which makes us think in a lightweight and sleek notebook model with a stylish design. Indeed, A12, the first Zepto Notus model, is a 12.1-inch ultra-mobile laptop coming in a glossy black finish, but with powerful features such as magnesium protection layer, up to 25Kg pressure resistance, the Intel Ultra Mobile Platform which is a great energy saver, 1280 x 800 pixel LED backlit display with Crystal Clear technology for vivid colors and high contrast, and is powered by Intel A110 processor clocked at 800MHz, enough for basic operations such as working with documents, watching movies, chat and Internet browsing.

Zepto Notus A12 has a waterproof keyboard, touchpad and power button area, and can operate for up to 5 hours of intensive use and 10 hours of minimum use, with the 6-cell battery.

It is available in 2 versions, like the other Zepto notebooks, Value and Power, both coming with Intel Onboard Graphics, 1024MB DDR2 RAM memory, 80GB S-ATA HDD drive of 4200 rpm, and 10/100/1000 based T-LAN.

The Power configuration adds a Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n module, Windows Vista Home Basic operating system and a DVD-RW optical drive, at a price of £829.06, with about £130 more than the Value configuration.
