In case you are really behind with the latest news in technology, and you still don’t know what a laptop is, here is the most simple definition for you: a laptop is a portable computer. It has the same components as any PC (display screen, keyboard, mouse, processor, RAM memory, hard drive etc), only that it is much smaller, thinner and also lighter. So this means that it can be carried with you anywhere you go, and this way you can do all your regular computer tasks from any place you want.

This is quite a good laptop, so its price is not very small…it costs 830 dollars at Best Buy. It comes with the Intel ® Core ™ i5 – 450 M processor which features a 3 MB cache and 2.4 GHz processor speed with Turbo Boost up to 2.66 GHz. So the processor is a really good one, and combined with the RAM memory of 4 GB DDR 3, will offer you a really good performance, for any kind of computer activity. Its optical drive is the Multiformat DVD ± RW/ CD-RW drive with double-layer support, that can record up to 8.5 GB of data on a single DVD.

It is not very big, but not small either, having a 14" LED high definition display with a 1366 x 768 resolution. The hard drive is also very good, offering a big capacity of 500 GB and a speed of 5400 rpm. So this means that you can store all sorts of files, including big video games, High Definition movies, music, pictures and so on. The graphics engine is good too, so you can even play complex video games on this laptop. it has the NVIDIA GeForce 310 M graphics that features up to 512 MB dedicated video memory.
