New Toshiba Satellite U305 Notebooks

Toshiba announced its improved Satellite 305 notebook line at CES 2008.
The ultra-portable notebooks are weighting now less than 4.6 pounds and have a 13.3-inch wide display with TruBrite technology and 1280x800 pixels resolution, to deliver a colorful viewing experience, and a built-in 1.3MP camera with microphone for videoconferences.

Several models from the line come with the 802.11n wireless protocol to make then capable of faster speeds compared with the previous standard.
Available at a starting price of $949.99, the Satellite U305 series is available online at Toshiba Direct.
Just to give you a general view of the prices and specification options I’ll show you an example of notebook configuration priced at ESUP $1,149.99.

The model is called Satellite U305-S2812 and comes with Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium operating system for the 32-bit processors, and is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5550 clocked at 1.83GHz.
It integrates 2GB PC2-5300 DDR II SDRAM memory but you can extend it up to 4GB. The S-ATA hard drive offers a data storage of 250GB and 5400 rpm.

There is also a DVD Super-Multi optical drive and an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 with 64-251MB dynamically allocated shared graphics memory, plus built-in stereo speakers and Intel Wireless Link 4965AGN (802.11a/g/n) module.
Bluetooth 2.0+EDR and the fingerprint reader are not missing either.
