Designed specially for gaming purposes, LG’s R700 new notebook computers offer great 3D imaging while on the go, being a smart alternative to desktop computers when you really have to be away from your gaming behemoth.

LG R700 is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor up to T7700 with 4MB L2 cache and 2.4GHz speeds, and the video card providing high-quality graphics is no other than NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT with 512MB VRAM memory and TurboCache support.

The operating system pre-installed is Windows Vista or Windows XP, and the opther components include the Mobile Intel PM 965 Express chipset, 2048MB DDR2 memory with support for up to 4GB, 1024MB Intel Turbo Mmemory, up to 250GB S-ATA hard drive capacity, integrated DVD super multi dual layer optical drive, Intel Wi-Fi module, Dual Hexa-band Antenna or Triple Hexa-band Antenna for WLAN, modem, Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, Hybrid TV Tuner with remote controller, the built-in 1.3MP LG Smart Cam, hard disk drive security, 4-in-1 card slot, and ExpressCard slot.



For the sound enhancements the new notebook computers come with Dolby Home Theater system, 2 speakers, 1 sub-woofer, 24bit High Definition audio and microphone.
LG R700 is designed with a 17-inch display with Fine Bright Technology and a resolution of up to 1440 x 900 pixels, while being powered from a 6-cell Li-Ion battery.

It measures 395.0 x 278.0 x 26.5 mm and weighs 3.4 Kg with the battery.
