NEC VersaPro Ultralite VC LaptopNEC is taking preorders in Japan for their VersaPro Ultralite Type VC, a computer weighing only 970g

The VersaPro has is equipped with an Intel Core Duo U2400 (1.06-GHz) ULV processor, 512MB of DDR2 RAM, 40GB HDD, a 12.1” XGA screen with a 1024x768 resolution and a baterry which gave you 14.5 hours of autonomy.

The Ultralite Type VC is now available in Japan, with prices starting at $2,076.
