Pink MID

Ming Jong from Taiwan is a manufacturer of mobile computing solutions that is about to launch on the market a cool Mobile Internet Device probably destined to the teens market sector, as it comes in a light glossy pink housing with rounded edges.

The model name, MJNB401, doesn’t say anything but from the specifications list we learn that the ultra-mobile laptop features enough technologies to operate at the highest performance levels required by today’s MIDs.
It is lightweight measuring just 2 lbs but it’s also very durable, according to the company, with drop-resistant and shock-proof construction.

This cute MID device provides wireless connectivity, quick boot time of maximum 15 seconds, 1GB Solid State Drive storage capacity, and 128MB SDRAM memory, which is enough to run Linux-based operating systems or Microsoft Windows XP. In addition, there is a built-in 1.3MP web camera for high-resolution video during online conferences with friends and colleagues, the AC’97 audio support, integrated microphone, 2 built-in speakers, audio jack in and out, LAN connectivity, as well as memory card reader, and a 4-cell 3500mAh battery for up to 3.5 hours of continuous operation.

Ming Jong MJNB401 sports a 7-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, 80-key keyboard, capacitive touchpad, and comes with the Linux operating system pre-installed, being powered by the Ingenic JZ4730 processor with 336MHz CPU speeds.

It measures 220 x 152 x 31 mm and has 1 year warranty.
We can’t tell you the price of such a model as it is not available in stores yet.
