Medion Akoya S5610 HDMI Output Laptop
Posted by: Sierra in MEDION

Medion Akoya laptops are not in the tops of most wanted portable computers, or at least I didn’t find their models in the first 5 high-rated laptops, but the company has released a new one and I planned to tell you a few words about it, as I don’t like to miss any laptop. So let’s see… it is about the new Medion Akoya S5610 with a 15.4-inch TFT WXGA widescreen display, powered by an Intel Centrino 2 processor, more exactly the Intel Core 2 Duo Processor P7350, and integrates 3GB DDR2 RAM memory, 320GB HDD storage capacity, while running on the Windows Vista Home Premium operating system, which comes pre-installed with the Service Pack 1 and the new Media Centre interface.
It is available in stores since August 7 and you can purchase it from Sainsbury, if you are a Medion fan living in the United Kingdom.
Medion Akoya S5610 operates at 2GHz speeds with 3MB L2 Cache and 1,066 MHz FSB, thanks to the latest Intel processor technology that enables fast multi-tasking for intensive applications such as HD video encoding. In addition, the new processors have a smart power management improving battery life, and support the latest wireless draft N technology.
The integrated DVD-RW with 8x speed and Dual Layer support allows you to burn your movie collection and song playlists on CDs and DVD disks, while the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470 graphics card with DirectX 10 support, 256 MB GDDR2 memory and HDMI port, not only supports the latest video games, ensuring high-clarity images for the videos, but also allows you to view High Definition content on an external HDTV panel via a HDMI cable. You can easily connect Blu-ray or HD-DVD videos to the laptop and watch the action in full 1080p resolution, while the Unified Video Decoder frees the central processing unit of other demanding tasks running in the background. Other connectivity ports include dual-link DVI and DisplayPort.
For security, the Medion Akoya S5610 comes with a fingerprint identification scanner, and other elements designed to enhance your mobile experience include Intel Wireless WiFi Link 5100AGN for up to 300Mbit/s transfers, built-in 1.3MP web camera with microphone, eSATA port, 2 built-in loudspeakers, 6-channel audio, a 4-in-1 card reader, GBit Ethernet LAN port, 2 USBs, and several software applications.
The price set for HDMI output laptop is of £499.99.
