HP Mini Notebook with Windows XP Launched



Starting at a low price, characteristic to netbooks, of $499, the new HP mini notebook comes with a 10.2-inch display featuring the Infinity BrightView LED display technology, and runs on Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition operating system with Service Pack 3. These transform the small portable computer into a reliable system for everyday use, destined to those who don't have too many pretentions.

HP Mini 1035NR integrates an Intel Atom N270 processor that enables 1.6GHz operating speeds at very low power consumption, while featuring 10/100Base-T Ethernet LAN modem, 802.11b/g WLAN, Bluetooth 60GB storage capacity, wireless connectivity, a 2-in-1 media card reader, 1GB system memory, the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 with 120MB shared memory, a built-in HP web camera, and a 3-cell Lithium Polymer battery.

The HP mini notebook with Windows XP sports a full-size keyboard for comfortable typing and provides many functionalities such as wireless transfers via the Internet, short-range connectivity with other Bluetooth-enabled gadgets, optional 3G support, multimedia playing, all in a 1-inch thick computer measuring 13.2 x 4.3 x 11.6 inches at 2.38lbs.

    A 3 cell battery. Please step up to 6 cells, so I don't have to be tethered to an outlet
