In addition to the launching of the HP mini notebook branded by Vivienne Tam, the laptop producer introduces the black version of the same HP Mini 1000 XP -model, destined for all of those who need a practical mobile computing solution without any special advanced functionality.



The new laptop with Windows XP has a very affordable price for a configuration that starts at $ 399.99. It includes the Windows XP Home edition with Service Pack 3, an Intel Atom N270 processor of 1.6GHz operating speeds, the 8.9-inch LED BrightView widescreen display with 1024 x 600 pixels, the optional 10.2-inch version, 1GB system memory, the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950, optional 16GB Solid State Drive or 60GB hard drive, and the built-in web camera for video conferences.



For highs-peed Internet connectivity the new laptop with Windows XP features wireless G card with Bluetooth, while being powered by a 3-cell Li-Pol battery. It provides also two USB ports for peripherals.
