You can choose between Windows Vista Business/XP Tablet PC Edition 2005/XP Professional operating systems to be pre-installed.

LifeBook P1620 convertible tablet runs with the Intel Core 2 Duo Ultra Low Voltage U7600 CPU at a speed of 1.2GHz, an upgrade to the P1620 single core-based model.

It is still based on the Centrino Napa mobile platform integrating the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 graphic processing unit, but provides 2GB memory and 100GB HDD storage or 32GB SSD drive option, but there is no optical drive, which places the model in the relatively-expensive Tablet PCs market sector, being sold at a price of $1,749.

For connectivity and communication, the tablet provides wireless access via the 802.11a/b/g module, Bluetooth as an option, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, the 56k modem, USB, PC/SD Card, and VGA.
The tablet’s weight is of about 2.2 pounds including the 3-cell battery.
