Everex to Release a new Version of its Nanobook

Everex is planning to launch another version of its Nanobook ultra portable notebook, under the name Cloudbook that will have a starting price of just $450.
It will have a 7-inch display and Linux operating system pre-installed. Rumors say that Everex will launch it in January at Consumer Electronics Show 2008 in Las Vegas.
The Cloudbook is supposed to be powered by a VIA C7 ULV 1.2GHz CPU and to have 30GB HDD storage, 512MB of RAM, DVI, USB ports, card reader and Wi-Fi connectivity support.
Its built-in webcam is said to be of 1.2MP and the operating system would be gOS, Linux distribution optimized for use with Google Apps sponsored by Everex.
Another information is about a developer version of the UMPC that would be released earlier than the CES 2008 presentation, a model that will come with a touch screen.
