Dell released a new special laptop art edition consisting of two available models: the Mike Ming Edition and Mike Ming Extreme Edition, and for both you can choose from Sea Sky theme or Bunch O Surfers.
The designer is Michael Miyahira from Brooklyn.

"Our customers have asked that we continue to look at other areas of life, apart from technology, to help bring a sense of uniqueness to their computers," said Ed Boyd, vice president of Consumer Experience Design at Dell. "Mike Ming and the other artists in the series represent the shift in the level of customer design input, a trend we're excited to see continue."

The difference between the two Mike Ming notebooks is that you can have the $699 configuration with Intel Pentium Dual Core Processor, 3GB memory and 160GB HDD storage or you can as $100 to get more storage of 320GB and the Intel Core 2 Duo processor type.

Dell Mike Ming edition is based on the Inspiron 1525, a 15.4-inch notebook with High Definition support, optional Blu-ray Disc, and built-in web camera.

"I wanted to create a sense of energy, playfulness, sophistication and psychedelic momentum when I started this," said Ming. "This new technique from Dell brings my inspiration -water and the energy it produces -to life and gives computer aficionados their own display of style."
