Cheap HP Laptops

But what do you do when you are looking for bigger cheap HP laptops, ones that can be used as desktop replacement or one that have better components inside rather than Intel Atom processor and 1 GB of RAM which are pretty common on netbook, we would like to talk to you about the HP G60t laptop. With a starting price of $530, this laptop definitely fits into the cheap HP laptops category.

The unit does not come with very powerful specs since it is a budget laptop, but the things that you can find inside the chassis are still going to offer some power for you to complete your basic to mainstream computer tasks. The unit takes its power from a 2.0 GHz Intel Pentium T4200 processor and 4 GB of RAM. The graphics card is the integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500 MHD while the total storage capacity of the hard drive is 160 GB. I used to think that this laptop was great for student but I think that they are becoming pickier about what their notebook can do so they are redirecting their attention to the multimedia or even gaming laptops on the market.

The unit comes with the Windows Vista Home Basic operating system preinstalled. One thing that you really have to appreciate about this laptop is that it does not look cheap at all. The combination between black and silver plus those superb black keys look quite expensive and there is no doubt that this laptop has a solid built in quality. the display of this laptop measures 16 inches in diagonal so it is save to call it a budget desktop replacement. The native resolution of this display is 1366 x 768 pixels. The colors shown on this display are beautiful and even the levels of brightness and contrast would not indicate that we are dealing with a cheap HP laptop. As for the selection of ports and features, you should know that this laptop comes with no less than 3 USB ports, one Express Card slot, the Ethernet port, one VGA out, the HDMI port, a 4-in-1 digital media card reader and the regular headphones out and microphone in jacks. Battery life is always important upon purchasing a new laptop but in the case of a 16 inch laptop which is meant to replace a regular computer, I am not sure that it really matters that much. If you are still interested in this chapter, know that the HP G60t manages to stay on for about 2 hours and 25 minutes with the display brightness set to medium level, the wireless card activated, using Word to type a documents and the Windows Vista power management profile set to “power saver”.
