Yet another laptop from Zepto named after a Greek mythology character. Orion A15 was named after the skilled hunter occupying a place in the stars after his death, and this idea is represented by the black laptop model with a stylish finish sporting an illuminated Ze[to logo on the back.

This 15.4-inch model is powered by the Intel Centrino 2 technology with minimum 3MB Smart Cache and 1066Mhz Front SideBus, which work together to deliver high operating speeds at a lower power consumption.
It integrates the Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics chipset with 384MB shared memory, DirectX 10 support, OpenGL 2.0 and Shader Model 4, for great views during gaming and while playing with the Windows Vista Aero feature on the 1280 x 800-pixel display.

Like the latest models introduced by Zepto, Orion A15 has the Night LED mode that allows you to turn off all the other indicators, leaving only the hard drive light On, for a simpler way of knowing when the portable computer is functioning.

Specifications include 8Gb maximum system memory, 2.8GHz Dual Core CPU speeds, TV Tuner, Turbo Memory Crad, Wireless LAN, 3.8 hours of battery life, built-in web camera, microphone, HDMI connectivity, SPDIF audio out, http://www.ubuntu.com/ Linux Ubuntu support, and other cool elements, encased in durable yet elegant aluminum reinforced chassis.

At £752.41 the notebook has 4GB memory, 320GB hard drive, DVD burner, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, microphone and Windows Vista Home Basic operating system pre-installed. This one is powered by the Intel Core 2 Duo P7350 providing speeds of up to o 2GHz.

Znote 6025WD has an UltraCrisp display on which uses can watch great movies on the go or manage their office documents and presentations for a long time, thanks to the optional 12-cell battery.
This mobile multimedia center with a 15.4-inch display of 1280 x 800 pixels runs on Windows Vista Home Premium operating system with the cool Aero effects manager, powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and the Intel 965PM + ICH8-M chipset. Graphics are enhanced by the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 featuring DualView technology to connect the laptop to external monitors and projectors for expanding your workspace.

And another new Zepto laptop gets available, this time a model optimized both graphics and work productivity on the, called after the Greek word referring at “the connection in a group or something that stands in the middle.”
With the same simplistic design line that all Zepto notebook tend to follow, the 15.4-inch Nexus A15 is an eye-catching model sporting the Zepto illuminated logo, soft feel, aluminum connectors, and a keyboard with 2.8 mm key movement for precise typing response and comfort.

Running with the upgradeable Nvidia MXM platform, the notebook supports high-demanding graphics with the Geforce 9600M GT 512MB DDR3 (600/1600MHZ) card, which provides increased memory speeds and graphics power, as well as support for Nvidia PhysX and CUDA, the latter in charge with boosting your application speeds up to 12 times.

The Zepto Night LED mode you can turn off the visual indicators for power, battery and wireless connectivity, to watch DVDs, Blu-ray or images undisturbed by too much light, leaving only the hard drive light on, just to know the computer is working.
Starting 15 October, Zepto will provide new notebooks from the same model series, with docking station featuring built-in HDMI, 6 USB ports and Digital audio out.

In addition, Nexus A15 comes with Intel processing technology power, 8GB maximum system memory, 2.8GHz Dual Core processing speeds, TV tuner, Turbo Memory Card, Wireless LAN Card, and up to 3.8 hours of battery life thanks to the new Low Power Intel P Series.
With the built-in 2MP high-resolution web camera you can take pictures, film, or use it for video chat over the Internet, together with the microphone.
Other features of the new laptop include HDMI 1.3A Connection, SPDIF audio out, Ubuntu operating system support, and 2 configuration options as you’ve probably got used with.

The Value system starts at 799,00 EUR, including NVIDIA Geforce 9600M GT 512MB, Intel Core 2 Duo-processor P7350, 1024MB DDR2 800MHz PC6400, 80GB 5400rpm S-ATA HDD, DVD-RW/CD-RW SATA, and the built-in camera.

We got used with Zepto laptops launching on a daily basis and we try not to miss none of them, so now i will tell you a few details about the company’s latest gaming laptop computer, the Znote 6625WD included in the Zepto 6000 series.

It’s optimized for professionals, starting at the screen level, with an UltraCrisp 15.4-inch display of 1680 x 1050 pixels, and ending maybe with the 12-cell battery providing up to 4 hours and 45 minutes of continuous use. Between these, it features the Intel Santa Rosa technology, an Intel 965PM + ICH8-M chipset, NVIDIA Geforce 8600M GT graphics with support for Pure Video HD, DirectX 10, Shader Model 4.0, HDR Lighting and Powermizer. Other important components include the 7.1 Digital Surround Sound with S/PDIF out, which allows you to render the same high-definition sound level via your home sound system.

Zepto Mythos





The latest Zepto press release informs us about a new laptop model added recently, called Zepto Mythos, with a superb presentation in green.

Inspired by the Greek word “Legend”, Mythos’ name together with a stylish white design, unveil a strong computer, powered by the Intel Core 2 Duo-processor technology at 2GHz via the P7350 model, or 2.26GHz, if the P8400 is chosen. It has up to 8GB system memory, up to 4GB DDR2 memory, up to 320GB SATA HDD storage capacity, DVD-RW, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR, built-in web camera of 2MP, and microphone. The graphics card is an NVIDIA Geforce 9600M GT with 512MB memory, Nvidia PhysX and CUDA ready, the latte in charge with speeding up your laptop up to 12 times more.
Mythos A15 with the optional Ultra Crisp panel has a 15.4-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixel s, offering two possible configuration: Value starting at £699.85 and Power available at £837.88.

Included features are: power modes, Night LED, volume, Bluetooth Wireless, Media player, Touchpad on/off, and 2.8 mm key movement for increased ergonomics. The Night LED does not refer at keyboard’s backlight but it is a feature used to turn off the visual indicators like power, battery or Wi-Fi, and leave only the hard drive indicator On, to be able to see when the laptop is working.
In October Zepto will provide also a docking station for the laptop model, with HDMI, 6 USB ports and Digital audio out. These besides the TV Tuner, Turbo Memory Card, and Wireless Lan Cards.
For security, Mythos has the fingerprint reader technology enabled to provide data access only to the right user.

It supports Linux-based operating systems like Ubuntu, but Zepto does not provide guidance for this, highlighting the fact that it will require 3rd party drivers for the webcam, fingerprint scanner and TV Tuner card.
