Its new rugged tablet PC has important technology enhancements such as highly sunlight readable screen, the Dual Mode flexible user interface, new redesigned antennae, new wireless modules, the Windows XP Tablet PC Edition operating system pre-installed, and Windows Vista Business support.

The new model is one of the best tablet PCs with rugged construction and integrates a 1.2GHz Core 2 Duo processor model from Intel, 50% brighter Dual Mode AllVue Xtreme display technology for the 10.4-inch transmissive LCD display, RS232/422/485 serial port, 802.11n Wi-Fi at 2.4 GHz for two times faster wireless transfer speeds, 120 GB HDD storage, fingerprint recognition, optional Solid State Drive storage type, Bluetooth, GPS, and double memory capacity.

In present Xplore provides three Tablet PC series: iX104C2 optimized for delivering value and performance comparable to commercial grade mobile computers, iX104C3 designed for performance, an important factor in any organization, and iX104C3PLUS, which is the most improved series equipped with the right elements to deliver value and performance being powered by a faster processor and coming with the Dual Mode AllVue display capable of 70% more brightness compared with the other models.

The iX104C2 rugged Tablet PC is a model resistant at drops, shocks, water and extreme temperatures which makes it a great mobile tool for outdoor work, and it allows you to configure it according to your needs starting from wireless modules and hard drive size to mounting kits and docking solutions.
It brings all the communication features you need including WLAN, WWAN, PAN and GPS with embedded antenna, and it still remains lightweight adopting a smart ergonomic design.

Among its features we have a 10.4-inch XGA display, an Intel Pentium M 733 ULV processor at 1.1 GHz speeds, 512 MB DDR RAM memory, 40GB HDD storage capacity, up to 30 cm in the water resistance, the 802.11 wireless module, certification for Wi-Fi/ Cisco Compatible Extensions, and Windows XP Tablet PC edition operating system pre-installed.
Next comes the iX104C3 series, also configurable, and with some important additions compared with the C2 models.

The news here include a 10.4-inch XGA Transmissive LCD, a fingerprint reader module, user accessible hard drive and PCMCIA bays, and a 1.2 GHz Ultra Low Voltage Intel processor.
The most advanced series is Xplore iX104C3PLUS, which is equipped with a 10.4-inch Transmissive Dual Mode AllVue screen 70% brighter, the fingerprint reader module, user accessible hard drive and PCMCIA bays, and a 1.4 GHz Intel Ultra Low Voltage processor.
Another thing that needs to be mentioned here is that all the three series come with three-year warranty.
