Toshiba expends their P105 series with the P105-S6217 laptop.

Weighting 7.1 lbs - pretty impressive for a notebook boasting a generous display (17 inch) - Toshiba P105-S6217 is powered by an Intel 1.66 GHz Core 2 Duo T5500 processor.

Like all the new Toshiba laptops, the P105-S6217 comes installed with Windows Vista Premium. It features a 200 GB HDD, up to 4 GB of RAM , tri-mode Wi-Fi connectivity, a multi-format/dual-layer DVD burner, an ExpressCard slot, multi-format memory card reader and a fingerprint reader for added security.

Toshiba P105-S6217 also includes S/PDIF digital audio output,FireWire (also known as IEEE 1394 or i.Link) ,VGA monitor port, PCMCIA (or PC Card) slot (Type II, PCMCIA R2.01, PC Card16, CardBus,1 headphone jack and a microphone jack.

Toshiba has announced two new additions from the Satellite P105 series, the P105-S9337 and the P105-S9339 which brings gaming to life with thinner and lighter laptop designs.

Toshiba Satellite P105-S9337 and Satellite P105-S9339 has a 17-inch widescreen and are powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 processor at 2.00GHz and features an NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GS graphics, 2048MB of DDR2 main memory, 200GB SATA HDD and a dual layer DVD burner.

Other features includes a PC Card and an ExpressCard slots, 5-in-1 Bridge Media Adapter, DVI-D and TV out ports, four USBs, built-in harman/kardon stereo speakers and a 9-cell Lithium Ion battery.

Toshiba Satellite P105-S9337 and Satellite P105-S9339 has Windows Vista Home Premium and Ultimate Edition, respectively, pre-installed and are priced at $1,999 and $2,099.

After the "A135" series, Toshiba announced the release of "U205" series laptops with the Satellite U205-S5057 and Satellite U205-S5067 ultra-portable laptops, which will have pre-installed Windows Vista Home Premium or Windows Vista.

Toshiba Satellite U205 series laptops weight 4.1 pounds and features a 12.1-inch widescreen, 160 GB HDD and are powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor.

The Satellite U205-S5057 has a 1024MB PC4200 DDR2 SDRAM memory while the Satellite U205-S5067 has a 2048MB PC4200 DDR2 SDRAM memory.

Toshieba Satellite U205-S5057 and Satellite U205-S5067 will be available starting February 6, priced at $1,299 and $1,599 respectively.

Toshiba has announced a new Satellite laptop series, the A135 including A135-S4499, A135-S4467, and A135-S4427.

The A135 series laptops featuring a 15.4-inch widescreen will be available in three different configurations (A135-S4499, A135-S4467 and A135-S4427)with the Microsoft Windows Vista OS pre-installed.

Both Toshiba Satellite A135-S4467 and Toshiba Satellite A135-S4427 have SATA HDD with 160GB and 120GB of storage, 1024MB DDR2 memory and built-in stereo speakers. The A135-S4467 is powered by an Intel Core Duo T5200 processor while the A135-S4427 is powered by Intel Core Duo T2250 processor.

Toshiba Satellite A135-S4499 laptop is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 processor and incorporates two 120GB SATA hard discs, “one drive for business applications, and second hard drive for music, photos and other multimedia files”. It also has built-in stereo speakers and built-in microphone too.

Toshiba A135-S4467 and A135-S4427 will be available on January 30, 2007, priced at $999.99 and $899.99, respectively.

Toshiba Satellite A135-S4499 will be available for purchase on February 20 priced at $1,499.99.

Toshiba announced today the release of the Qosmio G30/97A which has Windows Vista pre-installed.

The Qosmio G30/97A features an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a HD DVD-R drive which makes it the first of its kind in the world. The 17-inch widescreen laptop comes with a digital TV tuner.

The other features of the Qosmio G30/97 include: : harman/kardon speakers, latest edition of Microsoft Office Personal 2007, Microsoft Office OneNote 2007 etc.
