Toshiba has added another laptop in their Dynabook family.

The new TXW sports a 15.4-inch display with a 1,280×800 resolution, a 2.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7400 processor, Nvidia GeForce Go 7600 graphics card with 256MB memory, up to 2GB of RAM, a 120GB HDD, a multi drive dual layer DVD.

Other features includes four USB ports with 802.11b/g wireless, IEEE, Ethernet and stereo speakers.

Toshiba Satellite TXW Dynabook ships with Vista Home Premium system operation and has a starting price of from $1,839.

Toshiba has announced today that the company plans to incorporate laptops powered by AMD processors in its laptop offerings. The laptop PC maker plans to use AMD chips in moderate-priced standard models for individual and corporate clients, Reuters reports.

Toshiba will install AMD chips in some models to be released this summer.

The estimated prices of AMD-equipped laptops are expected to sell for up to $82 less than comparable models.

Toshiba has introduced its their new latest multimedia laptop concept, the Toshiba Qosmio F40W.

The F40W is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 2GHz processor, up to 4GB of DDR2 RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS graphics and a 120GB hard drive.

The 15.4-inch LCD display laptop also has a built-in TV tuner, a Multi Burner DVD with LightScribe, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g, a memory card reader supporting SD, SDHC, xD, Memory Stick, and HDMI output.
