The dye-sublimation process uses the Expression Collection to result in a new personalized look chosen from three colors, four keyboard fonts and three patterns.

The patterns available are Victorian Lace showing a vintage look combined with modern mosaic, Flora inspiring the beauty of flowers blossoming towards the sun, and Leaf, which lets you imagine a contemporary glimpse into nature's eternal processes.

The basic configuration starts at a price of $1,279.99 and includes the Victorian Lace pattern on a black background, the FZ Standard keyboard, a 15.4-inch WXGA LCD display with XBRITE-HiColor technology, an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T8100 at 2.1GHz speed, 2 GB DDR-SDRAM memory, 120GB SATA HDD, the DVD±R DL / DVD±RW / DVD-RAM optical drive, NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GT graphics, WLAN 802.11 a/b/g/n with w/Integrated Bluetooth, all running on the Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium.

Sony announced new specifications for its products planned to be released this year, including several VAIO notebooks with the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processors.
VAIO AR60 series equipped with a 17-inch WUXGA widescreen display having 1080p and X-black LCD screen technology, 50GB Dual Layer Blu-ray Disk drive, 4GB SDRAM memory, NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT graphics processing unit with 512 MB dedicated, will be powered by the advanced Intel Core 2 Duo T8300 processor to deliver outstanding graphics and will feature also the Deep Power Down technology for longer time on the go between charges.

The notebook uses super-bright double lamp illumination, integrates hybrid DVB-T digital/analogue tuner with remote control and supports HDMI for watching HD movies on the compatible TVs.

VAIO FZ30 series, besides the characteristics mentioned for VAIO AR60, is lightweight and has a durable magnesium alloy housing, measuring 15.4 inches, unlike the VAIO SZ70 series which uses carbon fiber chassis material.
The latter model is powered by the other powerful known Intel processor, the Core 2Duo T9300 for turbo performance in a notebook weighting only 1.79Kg, which comes with the Stamina Mode switch type to allow the user change the graphic chipsets and extend the battery working time of 5 hours.

This series brings with the integrated HSDPA WWLAN technology to let users access the Internet on the go with speeds of up to 3.6Mbps. One single model from this series is available at the moment on Sony’s online store and it sports 250GB HDD, 4GB SDRAM and the rest of the components mentioned in the first series.

There is also a stylish notebook series powered by the Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 technology, the VAIO CR30, but its configurable and you can integrate even a T8300 CPU, depending on what you need and on the financial resources.
These notebooks are sporting a 1.3MP camera with Motion Eye technology and an AV Mode with dedicated buttons for watching movies on DVD without having to start the operating system.



Sony VAIO TP2 Home Entertainment Centre is the round complex and stylish piece which you see in the image, and is designed to fit any corner of your home, being capable of working with TV displays and personal computers displays.
It too integrates an Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 processor, a Blu-ray Disc Combo Drive for high definition movies, and is equipped with HDMI connectivity, a hybrid DVB-T digital/analogue tuner and a massive HDD with 500GB storage.
Its BRAVIA Sync technology is compatible with BRAVIA TVs via the HDMI support and controlled by the remote.

When I wrote about the Sony Vaio TZ notebooks which were announced earlier this month I was wrong estimating the price.
It is not ranging between $2,000 and $3,000, but the most advanced model has a starting price of $3,699 and the one with the lowest price costs $2,199.

Some of you didn’t hear much about this superb notebook with so a high price and that’s why I want to enumerate its key features and the most important specifications.
First of all, this TZ model is built to meet the business people highest requirements and this is why Sony thought in adding an outstanding black design with sleek and ultra-portability characteristics and the Bordeaux Red premium carbon fiber finish to catch the attention of all those around the owner.



More than that, it features a11.1-inch WXGA LCD display (1366 x 768 pixels) with the XBRITE-HiColor technology for extremely sharp details and superb color complexity, plus the fact that it is very light weighting only 2.65 lbs with the battery and is just 1-inch thin.

Besides these exquisite features, it is a powerful machine capable to operate up to 8.5 hours, and together with the model you receive the elegant leather protection case and an external DVD optical drive.
When opened, the innovative QWERTY keyboard adds another 50% of sophisticated look.

I said it is very powerful for notebook so thin, now let’s see why.
We have an ultra portable running with the Intel Core 2 Duo U7700 processor at 1.33GHz, integrating 2 GB or RAM memory, 64GB Ultra ATA or 250 GB S-ATA at 5400 rpm, and for the graphics comes with the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 with Total Available Graphics Memory 256MB and the Intel 945GMS chipset.



The sound clarity is ensured by the Dolby Headphone Dolby Virtual Speaker built-in stereo speakers.
Other elements include a built-in MOTION EYE web camera with microphone, biometric fingerprint sensor TPM module, multimedia card reader, VGA, i.LINK Interface, port replicator connector, USB, Fast Ethernet, modem, wireless WAN and LAN, Bluetooth, and the latest Microsoft Windows Vista Business operating system.
