A new gaming notebook is almost out. Ripple Note PLK570-212 is to be released in Korea and is running on Santa Rosa, being powered by the Intel Core 2 Duo T7700 processor at 2.4GHz speed.

It has 2Gb of DDR II SDRAM memory with the possibility to add up to 4GB, and features an NVIDIA GeForce 8700M GT graphics card with 512 MB video RAM, 120GB S-ATA hard disk drive at 5400 rpm, a DVD burner, and a high definition audio system with 2.1-channel integrated.

The connectivity options include wireless LAN via the 802.11 a/b/g module, Bluetooth 2.0 with Enhanced Data Rate, 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet module, four USB 2.0 slots, DVI, S-Video, Line-in, an Express Card slot, and support for SD, MMC, MS, MS Pro, and xD memory card types.

With the 17-inch TFT WXGA+ display, the Ripple Note PLK570-212 offers a resolution of 1440 x 900 pixels and measures 397 x 284 x 22 m with a weight of 3.95 Kg.
The new gaming laptop has a starting price established at $2,214.

RippleNote T7700 comes equipped with 160GB of HDD storage, a 1.3MP built-in webcam and microphone, and a 7-in-1 multi card reader.
But what makes it powerful is the processor it’s running on, and we are talking about an Intel Core 2 Duo T7700. Next it comes with 2GB DDR II SDRAM memory plus 1GB Turbo Memory for the best performance.
And we can’t forget about the integrated Intel Wi-Fi Link 4965AGN 802.11a/b/g/n chip.
