NEC Versa S9100 is the newest laptop released by NEC.
It runs on Window s Vista Business operating system being powered by an Intel Core2 Duo processor with Enhanced Intel SpeedStep technology, and graphics taken care by Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 with up to 384MB shared memory.



Versa S9100 sports a 12-inch WXGA Supershine LED backlight display with a resolution of1280 x 800 pixel and comes wth 2GB DDR2 SDRAM 667MHz memory, a 2.5-inch S-ATA HDD of 160 GB with G-Force Shock Protection Technology, dual DVD-RW optical drive, Intel PRO 4965AGN 802.11a/g/n wireless module, Intel 82566MC Gigabit LAN, Bluetooth 2.0 + Enhanced Data Rate, built-in speakers with Integrated High Definition Audio , and the following connectivity slots and ports: 1 PCMCIA type II, 1 SD-Card reader, 2 USB 2.0 ports, Lin-out / headphone, Mic-In, 1 LAN RJ-45 Port, and 1 VGA 15-pin D-Sub.



The 6-cell 7800mAh battery keeps the Versa notebook operating for up to 6 hours.
It measures 292 x 214 x 29.8 mm with a weight of 1.25 kg.

NEC’s improved version of its ShieldPRO ruggedized tablet PC, the FC-N22A is destined to the work in the field, and built to be in the same time lightweight, durable, water resiatant, dust resistant and fanless.
Its touch-sensitive display is convertible to allow the user view the work from any position, and also provides high brightness of 750 cd/m2, with LED backlit, measuring 12.1 inches in diagonal.

The NEC rugged tablet operates for up to 12 hours continuously after the next battery recharge, and supports a wide range of temperatures between -20 degrees Celsius and +50 degrees Celsius.
Specifications include an ultra low voltage Intel Dual Core processor clocked at 1.06GHz, and Windows XP Professional operating system with Service Pack 2.

NEC ShieldPRO FC-N22A is expected in Japanese stores in June.

FlexLoad is a good solution for network administrators to switch between Windows Vista Business and Windows XP Professional, and comes with the latest NEC VERSA notebooks and POWERMATE desktop computers.

NEC’s FlexLoad consists of kit with two DVDs and according to the company, it is flexible and easy to use, taking just 15 minutes to complete with no need for technical abilities.

The solution works only with NEC’s models and can be also ordered from the company as a standalone item.
Also, NEC highlights the fact that FlexLoad is working only with NEC hardware that comes together with Microsoft Vista Business pre-installed, and that the models with Vista Home Basic or Home Premium are not compatible.

NEC Computers released a new notebook included in its VERSA line, under the name of VERSA P9110,a model targeting the professional level market with a nice and elegant housing and powerful components that meet the latest market requirements.

NEC VERSA P9110 shows a large 17-inch WXGA display optimized for a satisfying contrast level and color reproduction, on which the user can watch high definition movies and play with graphics, powered by the integrated NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS card with HDMI interface and 256 MB dedicated memory.



The notebook runs on an Intel Core 2 Duo 5450 at 1.66GHz and integrates a 1.3MP camera and four built-in stereo speakers with high definition sound compatibility.

You can find the model at NEC Computers distribution network at a price of $1,171, without VAT, which includes 2GB DDR II memory, 160GB S-ATA HDD storage, a double-layer DVD burner, the Intel 802.11 ABG wireless module, Bluetooth connectivity, card reader, and three USB ports.



VERSA P9110 allows you to work with your applications, make presentation using a projector connected to it and lots of other business-related activities for up to 3.5 hours with the standard 9-cell Li-Ion battery, and on Microsoft Windows XP Professional operating system.

Here’s another Hello Kitty branded luxurious laptop, this time coming from NEC.

The NEC LaVie G Hello Kitty laptop edition is featuring a 15.4-inch WXGA display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution and is powered by an AMD Turion processor.
Under the black chassis decorated with beautiful multi-reflexive Swarovski crystals, is hiding a RAM memory of 2GB DDR II, 120 GB of S-ATA HDD storage and a DVD-RW.

This Hello Kitty laptop is equipped with USB ports allowing you to plug in the Hello Kitty flash drives and other useful stuff, not necessarily Hello Kitty branded.

Available only in Japan, the laptop costs almost $2,000.
