The VR340 is the latest notebook addition to the MSI light and small notebook line with a 13.3 –inch Amazing Crystal Vision TFT LCD display, a weight of 2.2Kg with the 6-cell battery, and 332 x 240 x 26.5 mm measurements.

With a built-in 1.3MP camera and microphone you can chat online with the possibility to see your friends, family members and colleagues even while on the road, as well as continue your work without being stopped by delays thanks to the Intel Pentium Dual-Core processor technology used by MSI and up to 3GB of DDR2 SO-DIMM memory.

For connectivity the notebook provides three USB slots, PCMCIA slot for digital TV and presentations, modem, Gigabit LAN, optional Bluetooth module, wireless LAN, a 5-in-1 card reader, and S-Video port.
MSI VR340 runs on Windows Vista Home Premium operating system, integrates the Intel GL960_ICH8-M chipset, up to 250GB S-ATA HDD drive, and a combo or a DVD super multi optical drive.

Similar with the ASUS Bamboo notebook, MSI found a method to create its version of a biodegradable portable computer, made of fully recyclable components.

MSI GX eco-friendly series is covered in wood, carbon fiber and leather, and equipped for business professionals but also for everyday use, coming in an elegant design.



These notebooks come with 15.4-inch and 17-inch displays and from what we’ve heard, they will be powered by AMD processing technology and will feature a graphics card from ATI Mobility Radeon series, which makes us think they will be available at some nice prices.

The leather version will feature a built-in subwoofer for a strong and powerful surround sound.

MSI unveiled its new GX600-08 notebook model which is also the world’s first powered by the Turbo Battery Technology designed to adjust the programs in use according to the processor’s needs, and lower the parts that are not running in that moment.

The model sports a 15.4-inch Amazing Crystal Vision LCD display with 1680 x 1050 pixel resolution, and the graphics are taken care by the NVIDIA Geforce 8600M GT 3D graphic card with 512MB VRAM memory, and by the MSI VIVID Image Enhancement Technology that enhances the colors.

Other features include exceptional 3D sound, the Intel Core 2 Duo processor, the Intel PM965Express Chipset, wireless connectivity, HD interface, a built-in 1.3MP camera, optional DTV, and an outstanding flame-like design with colorful W, A, S, D buttons on the keyboard, metal reflexions, and independent numeric keypad.

MSI GX600-08 Extreme comes with the Windows Vista Home Premium pre-installed, up to 320B S-ATA HDD, a super multi HD DVDM, up to 4GB of RAM, fax/modem, G B LAN, a 4-in-1 card reader, mic-in, headphone-out, three USBs, TV Out, and a battery of up to nine cells.
This notebook version weights just 2.6Kg, while there is also the GX600-08 Performance Edition with optional Bluetooth.

The new notebook launched in Europe by MSI has a 14.1-inch WXGA display with Amazing Crystal Vision technology and a resolution of 1280x800 pixels, and is powered by the latest Intel processor technology, a 2GHz Core 2 Duo T7250.
Running with the Intel GMA X3100 chipset and having a Ram memory of 1GB DDR2 it is classified as a powerful quality laptop perfect for multimedia applications and most of the latest video games.

The S-ATA hard disk storage is of 160GB at 5400 rpm and the laptop comes with a 5-in-1 card reader, a DVD double layer super multi optical drive, built-in 1.3MP webcam and one of the most required components, the fingerprint reader.

Megabook PR400 is a great business notebook that provides lots of useful features and weights 2.1 Kg, with a 6-cell battery that lasts up to 3.5 hours in working time.
The connectivity features include a modem, Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth 2.0, Wireless Lan 802.11 b/g/n, Firewire, and an Express Card slot, while the Portbar has USB, DVI, S-Video and other slots, and an optional Portbar connector for the Port Replicator.

The Portbar costs extra $217, while the notebook is sold it $1,454 with Microsoft Windows Vista Business pre-installed.
