One of the leaders in rugged mobile solutions industry, MobileDemand, has introduced the xTablet T8700 rugged Tablet PC equipped for the work in harsh conditions with magnesium outer case to function at -20degrees Celcius - +50 degrees Celsius temperatures.
It is one of the few rugged tablets supporting Windows Vista operating system and features a backlit numeric keypad, vehicle mounting, credit card reader and bar code scanner, to fit different working sectors needs such as foods distribution, warehousing, transportation, and sales delivery.



You have two bar code scanner options to choose from: either a 2 Dimensional Imager or the Laser Bar-code Scanner, both coming as lightweight optical modules for reading linear, stacked linear and matrix bar code codes.



On the other hand, the Mag Stripe Reader is powered via USB, has bi-directional reading capability, can read encoded cards, and has a dual color LED.

Being one of the most advanced rugged tablets on the market, it is powered by the Intel Core Duo processor at 1.2GHz speed, integrating 2GB of RAM memory, 16GB/32GB/64GB SSD drive options for faster performance and increased battery life, and several battery options.



The users can opt for a long lasting battery for up to seven hours of operation, or a high-capacity version, if not a car adapter.

As all rugged tablets, the xTablet T8700 has a sunlight readable display for extremely bright conditions, and the technology adopted by MobileDemand for its model is xView.
