The LG Ultra Mobile PC which those of you that were at CES this year have surely seen, has no name yet, but what we know about it, besides the fact that it looks great, it is its small dimensions of 4.8 inches.

The prototype works on the Mnelow platform and is powered by a Silverthorn processor, same as the Asus R50A, also present at the show.
It features 1GB of DDR II memory, 40GB HDD storage, and it is built with a sliding QWERTY keyboard, supporting HSDPA, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity technologies.



We can’t wait to find out the price and availability date!

Yet another notebook targeting the young sector of the Korean population.
It is called LG P300 Series Premium and is released by LG Korea.



<-234x60 Half Banner - left->The small notebook has a LED display and measures 13.3 inches with just 21mm thickness, being very easy to connect it to your PC or notebook with an USB cable.
Easy portable, the P300 is keeping the XNote basic design line and has an ergonomic keyboard, providing two casing color options: black/white and mauve/white stripes.

It is small but powerful because it runs on an Intel Core 2 Duo processor at 2.4GHz and integrates the Nvidia Geforce 8600M graphic card with 256MB dedicated memory.
The internal Ram is of 2GB and there are also a 250GB S-ATA hard disk drive and a radio LAN. LG hasn’t forgotten to add the 1.3MP built-in webcam.
The model is very good for HD movies and 3D games because of its outstanding 1280x800 pixels display and a great surround sound provided by the two 1.5W high-power speakers.

If you have road to Korea you will find this laptop at a price of approximately $2,800.
Sounds too expensive for what it has, right?

LG has released a large notebook model with an impressive 19-inch widescreen display (16:10), based on the Intel Centrino Duo technology.


<-125x125 Button - left->The large screen is a wide view angle LCD monitor, WXGA type, incorporating the latest technologies, displaying better brightness and vivid images (300nit), reducing eye fatigue and offering clearer vision with a contrast ratio of 850:1.

With a response time of 7.4ms it removes any afterimage on fast moving picture possibility and is able to reproduce the colors fidelity with 72%.





Another important benefit of such a screen is that there is no color variation at any viewing angle.
The LG S900 notebook runs on an Intel Core2 Duo Processor T7300 at 2.0GHz and has a DDR2 memory of 2GB (or 1GB, depending on your options).

The powerful 3D graphics are ensured by the NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT video card with its own 256MB memory, which allows you to benefit from the Vista Aero special features like Flip 3D, Windows Sidebar, or transparent windows.


The next-generation Intel GMA X3100 graphic architecture is known for being the best in showing the realism of 3D graphics improving the gaming experience.
The clearest sound is produced in this case by the built-in cinema quality surround technology.
The notebook comes also with a 1.3MP webcam, very useful in video chat or video conferences.
For watching the TV shows you like you will have the Digital TV Broadcasting technology of the S900 and you will use the remote control which complements the mouse and the keyboard.
When you’ll need to transfer data, you will use the multi-memory card reader (5-in-1) for SD, MMC, MS, MS Pro, and XD card types.
Another interesting feature which the notebook model comes with, is the Smart Save button that you could press in case of a power failure to resume the system to saved status back.
If a UPS battery is attached, the system will keep the power on for up to 10 hours in power save mode.



LG S900 is equipped also with a HDD of 250GB (SATA II at 7200rpm) or you can opt for more, 320GB.
There is also a DVD Super-Multi Dual Layer and three options for connectivity: Intel Next-Gen Wireless-N, or Intel Pro/Wireless 3945ABG (802.11a/b/g) or 802.11bg.

It has WLAN support, LAN, Bluetooth plus EDR, and a 3-cell UPS Battery made from Li-Ion.
All this is weighting 5.9Kg with the battery and measures 447x318.5x52.5~66.8mm.
The price is around EU1400.

This is a new concept designed by Yeop Kim as a combination of an Internet tablet, a mobile phone and an LCD TV.




Its practical design as you can see is based on the high-end multi-touch display technology embedding new ultra capable software that would allows us to switch through its options with just a finger touch or a palm tap.


This LG Touch concept has a dual LCD large display and offers access to all Internet applications including e-mail, browsing, shopping, all with the use of a high-quality QWERTY keyboard.


Yeop Kim didn’t give us all the specifications probably because he doesn’t want to see us falling down of the chair.

The new LG notebook released in Korea uses a Hybrid Hard Drive type of 160GB.
The HHDs are a better solution than the standard HDDs because they are employing a buffer of up to 1GB of NV flash memory for caching data, this leading to decreased power consumption, decreased heat generation, decreased noise levels, improved reliability and improved performance.
The LG model has a HHD with 256MB of flash memory.

The LG E300-AP75KA runs with a 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 CPU, has an ATI Radeon X1250 graphics card, 2GB of RAM memory, a Multi DVD recorder, HDMI output and Wi-Fi.

It also has a 13.3 inch WXGA LCD with Fine Bright technology for an expressive and realistic view, and a 1.3MP built-in webcam.
The LG E300-AP75KA weights 1.3kg and it is found at a retail price of $1700.
