NVIDIA Quadro FX 3600M GPU was just announced by the graphic solutions manufacturing leader, and is integrated into the HP Compaq 8710w notebook computer to deliver improved graphics performance for professionals that need desktop workstation power and technologies in their laptop.
The HP notebook is available at $3,000.

NVIDIA Quadro FX 3600M graphics processing unit has 512MB G-DDR4 memory, a 256-bit memory interface, 51.2 GBps graphic memory bandwidth, featuring PowerMixer adaptive power management tools, OpenGL 2.1, Shader Model 4.0 and DirectX 10 support.

The entire NVIDIA Quadro FX notebook solutions line is delivered by HP, Dell, Lenovo, Fujitsu Japan, FSC, and other leading OEM’s worldwide.

Hewlett-Packard lets you include in your notebook configuration, the latest Penryn processors from Intel using the 45nm technology and the models included in this category are: 14.1-inch dv2700t, 17-inch dv9700t and the 15.4-inch dv6700t.

The difference between Merom option and the Penryn model costs about $230 while the HP Pavilion HDX 20.1-inch notebook can be configured with the Intel Core 2 Duo T9500 for an extra $300, upgrade from Intel Core 2 Duo T9300.

Unlike the Intel 65nm CPUs, Penryn versions deliver better performance, consume less power and lower the heat level.
For the Penryn-based HP models the future owners have to pay a starting purchasing price of over $2,000.

Hewlett Packard is considered the world’s largest personal computer manufacturer for the year 2007, reaching 18.8% of the global personal computer unit shipments.
These results were made public by IDC industry analyst firm that revealed a total of 30.1% global unit shipment growth for HP in 2007, with 19% market share at the end of the year.

“In calendar 2007, HP completed a makeover of its extensive PC portfolio serving large enterprise, small business and individual consumers. IDC’s report shows that customers the world over enthusiastically embraced HP’s products for their high design and leading-edge technology,” declared Todd Bradley, executive vice president, Personal Systems Group, HP. “We will continue to work to earn customer loyalty by delivering an excellent experience and innovation that really matters.”

HP has been growing at a rate of 23.3% every year for the Q4, an important increasing compared with the overall global PC market growth rate of 15.5%.
Customers were satisfied by the stylish designs and friendly features brought for example by the Artist Edition HP Pavilion notebook and the HP Pavilion tx2000 touch-sensitive tablet, the later being presented recently at Customer Electronics Show 2008 in Las Vegas.

As a summary, the HP Pavilion dv2800t Artist Edition notebook is the winner of HPs Take Action/Make Art contest where more than 8,500 young artists sent their ideas.

Pavilion tx2000 tablet has announced by HP and will be available at approximately $1,500.
Featuring the active digitizer handwriting recognition technology is integrates into the latest tablet trends, and it features a 12.1-inch convertible WXGA High-Definition touch-sensitive display with BrightView technology and 1280 x 800 pixels resolution.

HP offers several options for the processor model to power the tablet, and all are AMD Turion 64 X2 dual core CPUs. An integrated NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 card is handling the graphics with its 128MB of RAM.
The HDD storage options are ranging from 120GB to 320GB.

Pavilion tx2000 comes also with a Super Multi Double Layer 8X DVD burner or a LightScribe Super Multi Double Layer 8X DVD burner, and up to 4GB DDR2 memory.
The connectivity options are: 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet LAN, 802.11b/g WLAN or 802.11b/g with BluetoothTM or 802.11a/b/g WLAN with Bluetooth TM or 802.11a/b/g/n (draft 802.11n) WLAN with BluetoothTM, ExpressCard slot, USB, VGA, AND TV-OUT.

Other features include Altec Lansing audio system, several security software, and optional webcam or fingerprint reader.
Pavilion tx2000 tablet PC uses a 4-cell battery or the 6-cell Li-Ion version, and comes with Microsoft Windows Vista operating system pre-installed.
