Starting May, you will find in stores the new 2.5-inch hard disk drive from Fujitsu, with 500GB storage capacity for notebooks.
Fujitsu MHZ2 BT needs just 1.8W to function which categorizes it as a power-efficient disk drive and was included in the company’s Green Policy Innovation program which is about delivering new energy-efficient devices for the customers.

As people need larger storage capacities for their increasing amount of data, Fujitsu came out with the 500GB HDD to offer an efficient solution for Set Top Boxes, Digital Video Recorders, PCs, external hard disk drives, and other systems requiring a large storage space.

The MHZ2 BT HDDs support S-ATA 3.0 Gb/s interface, have 4200 rpm, 8MB buffer size, 12 ms read speed, 14 ms write speed, 300MB/s transfer rate, are shock-resistant, produce a 2.1 bels noise at idle and weight under 135 grams.

Anyway, the basic configurations has a fingerprint sensor, card slot, modem, Gigabit Ethernet, Intel Wireless Link module 4965AGN, HDMI port, five USB ports, two stereo speakers with sub woofer, and a 6-cell Li-Ion battery of 3200mAh.

The new Fujitsu LifeBook A6120 brings the Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium/Business operating system, the 802.11n wireless module, optional Intel Turbo Memory, a 250GB HDD Shock Sensor protection and a spill-resistant keyboard with optional fingerprint sensor and a 1.3MP webcam.

The notebook is featuring a 15.4-inch display with a nigh contrast and brighter, richer colors.
It is powered by the Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 processor capable of 2.1GHz speed and integrates a system memory of 3GB DDR II.

Fujitsu Announces LifeBook P1620 8 9inch Tablet

Fujitsu will release a new notebook from the small and lightweight category, with a 8.9-inch touch-sensitive display and powered by the Intel Centrino processor technology, being protected by the Fujitsu Portshutter software in charge with preventing data leaks, TPM module, a fingerprint reader, security lock slot and the Computrace BIOS Persistence Module.

The screen uses resistive digitizer and a bi-directional hinge input technologies, and comes with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels, brighter image, higher contrast ratio and a larger viewing angle in all directions.
You can choose between Windows Vista Business/XP Tablet PC Edition 2005/XP Professional operating systems to be pre-installed.

LifeBook P1620 convertible tablet runs with the Intel Core 2 Duo Ultra Low Voltage U7600 CPU at a speed of 1.2GHz, an upgrade to the P1620 single core-based model.

It is still based on the Centrino Napa mobile platform integrating the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 graphic processing unit, but provides 2GB memory and 100GB HDD storage or 32GB SSD drive option, but there is no optical drive, which places the model in the relatively-expensive Tablet PCs market sector, being sold at a price of $1,749.

For connectivity and communication, the tablet provides wireless access via the 802.11a/b/g module, Bluetooth as an option, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, the 56k modem, USB, PC/SD Card, and VGA.
The tablet’s weight is of about 2.2 pounds including the 3-cell battery.

New Fujitsu Notebook for Corporate Use

FMV-R8250 is a new laptop built by Fujitsu for corporate use and it features a 12.1-inch WXGA display.
The processor that powers the laptop is a Core 2 Duo SL7100 model with a speed of 1.20GHz, and the integrated RAM memory is of 1GB.

Fujitsu chose the GS965 Express as the chipset and added 80GB of HDD storage plus a DVD Super Multi optical drive.
The model weights just 1.16Kg.
