The M2010 is a Fujitsu Atom-based model that has been lately released on the market. A quickly review of its features reveals that M2010 belongs to the class of Mini-Notebooks. The OS is in Windows XP Home, has an Intel Atom N270 Processor 1.60 GHz, with a memory of 1GB DDR2 PC2-6400 SDRAM and internal storage is 160GB 5400 rpm SATA HDD. The graphics is one of the Intel GMA 950 type, wireless connection is provided by Atheros 802.11b/g, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR. It has 3 USB 2.0 ports, VGA OUT, power connector, RJ-45/Ethernet, stereo headphone/line out, stereo microphone in, and a 1.3 megapixel webcam. Its dimensions (H x W x D): 10.2" x 7.4" x 1.3" and weight: 2 lbs 8.8oz (3lbs 5.2oz with adapter) undoubtedly turn it into a netbook as well.

The build and design are very nice created with a glossy metallic red paint inside and out, having a black plastic surrounding for the keyboard and around the screen. The quality of the build is also well rendered in that no sounds of creak and squeak upon opening and closing the chassis. The screen hinges present a god tension that allows the screen to pivot smoothly. On the bottom we find the processor “Fujitsu Felt†that prevents the netbook from heating up your legs while holding it in your lap. Internal components are accessed through a single lid that lets you to change the wireless card and system memory.
The screen reveals a brightness that doesn’t affect its viewing in the conditions of a turned on office lamp. The angles while moving around are rated average with colors that start to reverse 20 degrees forward and backward. The speakers are also rated average in that no peak volume is powered to cover larger spaces.
The keyboard is one of the smallest that exists on the market and this thing conveys the keys to appear cramped. Because it has a wide border around the keys, this occupies a space otherwise useful to enlarge the shape of the keys. But despite this detail, the touch of the keyboard is somehow good. The individual key action is neat, not much noise while typing either. The touchpad includes multi functions such as Flick, Pinch and Chiral Rotate, the latter used to rotate a selected object at a 90 degrees angle.
Tests were run to observe other benchmarks and while hopping into the BIOS, it was observed the possibility of switching HyperThreading on or off, though the default setting was off. As soon as it is back on, M2010 speeds up and performs like any other netbook. Having these optimal performance settings, Fujitsu M2010 is a cozy companion for your trips allowing you to do HD video decoding, web surfing, photos editing or documents typing. The battery is a small 3-cell 25Wh that holds an average of time between 2 to 3 hours; with a larger one M2010 would have been a great competitor to the newer netbooks available on the market.
Being brief about it, it`s obvious there`s a big chance that at one point you will ask yourself: do I have the correct fan?..or do I have the proper memory for what I am expecting from my notebook? The Fujitsu notebook replacement parts, not only that they will do the job, at a cheap price, but u will be astonished by the Japan accuracy and art craft.
