<-120x240 Vertical Banner - left->We haven’t heard recently about new Dell laptop releases. It is true that I told you about the XPS concept exposed at CES this year, but let’s take a look at the company’s latest model, the XPS M1330, which is elegant, thin, lightweight and in the same time offers a few housing color options like red and blue.
The notebook is available at prices ranging $999 and $1,399 depending on the final configuration.

It is a 1.8Kg model featuring some of the latest technologies used in portable devices such as slot load optical drive, HDMI support, Biometric Fingerprint Security, and the optional LED display with 32 small white LEDs to add extra brightness to the screen making it very skinny, placing it in the top of the thinnest laptops.
The version with LED display brings with a 0.3MP camera too.

XPS 1330 comes with the standard Wi-Fi Catcher to let you catch a hotspot in just a few seconds with no need to power up the notebook, and with the Hyperband Multi-Antenna technology to deliver a strong and clear reception.
Then comes the Bluetooth support which is an option that connects your peripherals securely, removing the need for wires.

If you add the 9-cell battery version you will ensure an operating time of up to seven hours, reducing power consumption.
Dell equipped the model with a built-in 2MP camera type that is way superior to the 1.3MP classic versions encountered in the majority of notebooks today, and added a noise canceling microphone to give you full access to video conferences and chat.

Dell XPS 1330 has three processor options: Intel Core 2 Duo T5250 clocked at 1.5GHz, Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 with 2.0GHz speed and an Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 with 2.2GHz speed.
You can choose between Genuine Windows Vista Ultimate or Vista Home Premium operating systems from Microsoft.

The internal shared Dual Channel DDR2 RAM memory is of up to 4GB and the notebook integrates the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X1300 with the optional NVIDIA GeForce Go 8400M GS with 128MB DDR3 dedicated memory.

The main display measures 13.3 inches and is an UltraSharp WXGA type featuring the TrueLife technology and the hard drive is available with 200GB, 160GB or 64GB as SSD, while the slots and ports available for different types of connectivity include USB, Ethernet, VGA, HDMI, ExpressCard slot and an 8-in-1 removable card reader.
