Anyway, the Dell Studio 15 is a laptop loved by the masses because it offers the perfect balance between price and specs. This is why it has always been one of the best selling Dell laptop models ever since it first appeared on the market.

The 17 inch display is a beauty and it is one of the first things that you are going to fall in love with when you first boot up the system. It comes in a native resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and the screen is absolutely fantastic.

The images are sharp, with vivid and vibrating colors. The horizontal viewing angles are great so when you plan on watching movies with some friends, the Dell M1710 is going to fully support your decision.

The speakers are located below the palm rest area which is not exactly the ideal spot to place laptop speakers. The best possible location would be above the keyboard as the sound can be projected straight up and toward the user. Even if their location is not ideal, the speaker on this Dell gaming laptop offer decent sound, with bass and treble at acceptable levels. The volume levels can cover most users’ wishes. External speakers are only recommended when you want to listen to music at very loud volume levels. In other cases, I’m pretty sure that the speakers integrated on this laptop are going to meet your needs.

Dell Laptop

The Dell Latitude Z is one very classy and elegant Dell laptop which has the looks to die for. This is one laptop which looks good and it will make you look good as well while you are using it.

<-336x280 Large Rectangle - center->

This Dell laptop is based on a 1.6 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo SU9600 processor and 4 GB of DDR3 RAM. There 2 components make an excellent combination which will provide this laptop with great multitasking capabilities. The total storage capacity of the hard drive is 256 GB and the graphics card is the integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X4500M. The price of the unit reviewed here is almost $3600. The 16 inch display is a regular beauty. It comes in a native resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels and it features a matte covering which means we get no reflection this time, no matter how powerful the light in our working environment may be. The horizontal viewing angles are great. Unfortunately, the speakers are located on the bottom edge of the laptop so the sound coming out of the unit is going to sound a bit muffled. It would have been better is the speakers were located around the keyboard as the sound could be projected straight towards the user. In terms of sound quality, you could say that this laptop is located in the category average.

The keyboard looks very cool and the island type of key layout makes it look even more elegant than before. There is no flex registered in the keyboard area and the typing experience provided is great. Key travel is excellent and so is the feedback that you get. The touchpad is sensitive and responsive and the lag registered is insignificant. The left and right mouse buttons were very easy to press even when you use your thumbs and the keys are quite big so this helps a lot. The selection of ports and features is surprisingly poor for a 16 inch laptop. There is only one USB port, another eSATA and USB combo port, an Ethernet port and the Display Port out. It is highly recommended that you use a wireless docking station in order to increase the number of ports and connections on you Dell Latitude Z laptop.

The battery life is one chapter that is going to make you very happy when it comes to this Dell Latitude Z laptop. If you turn the display brightness to 70%, activate the wireless card and then set the Windows 7 operating system power management profile to “balanced mode”, you are bound to get about 3 hours and 45 minutes of battery life which is quite a surprising performance for a 16 inch laptop as this is not a number that you will find on most laptops from the similar category. The battery life is somehow justified if you consider the fact that the graphics card is an integrated model so there are no super spectacular specs inside this unit. It is still a very nice model although, come to think of it…is the price really that justified?

Best Quality Dell Laptops

The Dell Latitude XT2 is one of the best quality Dell laptops that you will find on the market right now. It may be a bit expensive if you consider the fact that the unit reviewed here came at a price of $2830. Part of this price is because this laptop is in fact a tablet PC and since it can be used in 2 ways, the unit is a bit more expensive. A tablet PC looks just like a regular laptop, except for the fact that you can rotate the display and place it above the keyboard and you can use the touch screen to write down on it using the stylus pen, just like you use a regular pencil to write down on a regular piece of paper.
