Besides the capacitive touch input supporting scrolling, zoom and programmable double-tap, the Dell Latitude XT, 1-inch thin tablet weighting 3.57 pounds, comes with a 12.1-inch display featuring optional Latitude XT DLV panel for the brightest screen of 400 nits, or the WXGA LED- backlit LCD.

The multi-touch technology allows you to scroll horizontally and vertically using 2 fingers at the same time, zoom with 2 fingers, and set 2 finger taps command to launch applications or turn the screen Off and save power.
The SSD drive is shock resistant and offers 22% better performance, compared to a standard Hard Disk Drive, while the 802.11n standard is the support for the upcoming fastest wireless connectivity.

Dell is struggling to become the “greenest” technology company on the planet. For reaching its objective, the company will match consumer contributions to “Plant a Tree for Me”, a program that wants to fight against the carbon impact of the electricity used by computer systems. The contributions will vary from $2 from a laptop purchase to $6 from a desktop purchase, this being available for small and medium business customers also. These contributions’ matching will last for one week.
The money will go to The Conservation Fund and to Carbonfund.org. These NGOs will use these contributions in their reforestation projects, projects that address to fighting the habitat loss and climate change.
