Any color, as long as it's black, that's what I always say when it comes to laptops, but I am not stopping there. If I think well, I wouldn't mind to see black snow in the winter at all, as long as there's such a thing as snow, since lately snow gets harder and harder to spot. Well, the Averatec N2700 is very easy to spot, but I can't easily fit it into any category, and I'll tell you why right away...

At 12.1 inch screen size, the Averatec N2700 is simply too much for a netbook, but not enough for a laptop. Fortunately, its hardware setup really makes the difference, leaving in the dust any netbook you can think of.

One of the latest model addition from Averatec is this black Averatec 2573 notebook available online, at a price of $949.99, on the official company’s store website.
It runs with the Windows Vista Home Premium operating system at 2GHz operating speeds, integrating an AMD Dual Core X2 TL-60 processor.

The entire system is small, featuring a 12.1-inch WXGA AveraBrite display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, but there are lots of useful features equipping it, such as built-in 1.3MP web camera for video conferences over the Internet, 3GB DDR2 memory, which is enough to run Windows Vista applications with no problems, 250GB hard drive storage, 10/100 LAN, DVD burner, and WLAN with support only for B and G standards.

In addition, the new laptop comes with a 4-in-1 card reader, three USB ports and integrated ATI RS690 graphics. It weighs 3.9 lbs.

Voya series is the latest notebook series launched by Averatec and includes two semi ruggedized models, Voya 4473 and Voya 6494.

The first notebook has a 14.1-inch display and a resistant housing making it a good solution for work on the go, if you need a portable computer for basic applications or you work in hard environmental conditions.


Same as the Voya 4473, the 15.4-inch Averatec Voya 6494 sports a spill resistant keyboard and touchpad, magnesium allow housing, corner bumpers, anti-shock mounted hard drive, while the display is a widescreen type for larger viewing.

Both notebooks run on Windows Vista Home Premium operating system and are powered by Intel processor technology, graphics, featuring connectivity options from the same company.

Averatec Voya 4473 and Averatec Voya 6494 will be available soon at online resellers and the producing company’s website, starting at a suggested price of $1,299.

Averatec 2575 is the newest ultra portable notebook from the company, featuring a 12.1-inch display having a 1280 x 800 native resolution, an ultra-thin and lightweight form factor, but equipped with strong hardware elements such as an AMD 62 X2 dual-core processor at 2.2GHz speed, ATI RS690T North Bridge /ATASB600 Southbridge Chipset, a super multi DVD burner, 9.5 mm-hard disk of 250GB, up to 4GB DRR II SO-DIMM RAM memory, and an integrated ATI RS690 graphics card which enhances the imaging on the WXGA Wide Screen LCD with AveraBrite technology.
