Asus R50A is a new UMPC presented this year at Customer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
It is powered by an Intel Silverthorne CPU clocked at 1.3GHz and has the Intel Poulsbo chipset.

Also, Asus added a built-in GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi technologies, besides 1GB of RAM and the 5.6-inch touch-sensitive display with 1024 x 600 pixels resolution.

During Costumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, ASUS revealed its latest powerful notebook designed for intensive gaming, with strong features such as dual-graphics technology delivered by NVIDIA SLI technology, and dual hard drives support.
It integrates no less than 8GB of memory for the fastest transfers while showing the 17-inch widescreen display with 1920x1200 pixels native resolution.

The outstanding graphic performance is ensured by the two NVIDIA GeForce 8700M GT GPUs with 1Gb of dedicated memory to allow the G70 users play the most advanced games while keeping several demanding programs opened in the background.

When we discuss about ASUS quality we have to mention also the superb design that is very important for the company’s image and G70 makes no exception, being covered in brushed aluminum finish with nice curved edges.
