Refurbished Apple Laptops
Posted by: LaptopsArena in Apple
Everyone would like an Apple laptop computer. It is not only of their white and attractive design, but also of their own operating system, how they perform and how distinctive they look from the rest. Apple laptops are gorgeous indeed and they are so slim and sleek, but unfortunately they are not for everybody. If you want an Apple laptop computer you have to pay big times on it, more than $1000. Even the small one, the 13.3” version starts at $999, so it is understandable. But what is also true is that Apple uses the latest technologies and does its best to satisfy every user, with high configuration, powerful media center, webcam and clean and smooth white look. One way to consider getting such systems is if you don’t mind the refurbished part. You can find on Apple’s official store refurbished laptops and also you can try on other online retail stores.

Refurbished does not stand for used or out of order, it means that systems were tested and some parts inside even had to be replaced. But refurbished Apple laptops are fully functional and ready to be bought. In some cases, there can be some scratches and dents on the lid, due to the fact someone had to run some tests and handled them. You will not be the first one, who laid their hand on one of them, but at least you will be the one who paid less and got it eventually. Apple MacBook Air, the 11.6” version, is available on Apple’s website at $799. The model was released in 2010, comes powered by Intel Core 2 Duo processor, has 2GB of memory, 128GB flash storage and NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics. Also, you get the FaceTime camera for video chatting with your friends. The warranty is limited to one year, but you can purchase the AppleCare Protection Plan and the shipping is free. With a more powerful configuration, you can get the July 2011 version of the Apple MacBook Air 11.6” laptop. This one comes with 64GB flash storage, Intel HD 3000 graphics, Intel Core i5 processor and Tunderbolt port, all for $849. It is still convenient considering how much costs an Apple Air and how thin and ultra-portable these laptops actually are.

But don’t think all prices are small with the refurbished Apple laptops. For instance, the MacBook Pro 17” model, powered by Intel Core i7 Quad-Core processor, with 4GB DDR3 SDRAM and 750GB hard drive, plus optical drive included and Intel HD 3000 graphics and AMD Radeon HD 6750M, is priced at “just” $2199. Indeed, this laptop is capable to handle anything you put it to do and it is your truly desktop replacement. But in case you are not willing to spend this much and you don’t actually care that much for having the latest specifications, then an older model will do just fine. You can consider the Apple MacBook Pro 15.4”, priced at around $700, with Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB DDR2 SDRAM, 200GB hard drive, Bluetooth, NVIDIA GeForce 8600MGT graphics and packed with Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard.

You just have to figure out how much configuration means to you and if you really want to have the latest features inside. If so, then the price is still raised high, but if not, you can surely stumble upon some good examples of refurbished Apple laptops that will not break the bank.
