Toshiba added three new Satellite A215 notebooks to its line, with improvements for productivity and multimedia, to fit business people’s requirements and not only.
Satellite A215-S6804, Satellite A215-S6814 and Satellite A215-S6820 are powered by AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual Core Mobile processors, and come with Windows Vista operating system pre-installed, meant to deliver strong performance and reliability.

The latest Satellite A215 models have a 15.4-inch widescreen with TruBrite display technology, a built-in DVD Super Multi drive with Labelflash, built-in web camera, all these to ensure you can do anything you need with your notebook.
The software coming with the optical drive allows you to burn images and text on DVD-R disks for a polished and professional finish.

Satellite A215-S6820 notebook is available at ESUP $1,199.99 and has the Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit installed, an AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile Technology Gold Edition TL-64 clocked at 2.2 GHz with HyperTransport Technology at up to 1600MHz. It has a PC5300 DDR2 SDRAM memory of 3072MB with a maximum capacity of 4096MB.
The S-ATA HDD at 4200 rpm provides up to 300GB of data storage, while the graphics card is an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400 model with 128MB DDR discrete graphics memory and up to 255MB dynamically allocated shared graphics memory using ATI HyperMemory technology.
There is also a wireless module and a fingerprint reader.

Next comes the Satellite A215-S6814 model available at ESUP $999.99, with Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit, powered by the AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile Technology Gold Edition TL-64 at 2.2 GHz with HyperTransport, 2048MB PC5300 DDR2 SDRAM memory, 250GB HDD (5400 RPM),an ATI Radeon X1200 with 128-319MB dynamically allocated shared graphics memory and the wireless module.



Satellite A215-S6804 is priced at $899.99 ESUP and has the same operating system, plus a less powerful processor clocked at 2.0GHz with HyperTransport, 2048MB PC5300 DDR2 SDRAM memory, 250GB HDD storage (5400 RPM), and the ATI Radeon X1200 with 128-319MB dynamically allocated shared graphics memory.
Of course it integrates a wireless module, webcam, microphone and the DVD burner, as the two previous models described.
