Toshiba announced today the release of the Qosmio G30/97A which has Windows Vista pre-installed.

The Qosmio G30/97A features an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a HD DVD-R drive which makes it the first of its kind in the world. The 17-inch widescreen laptop comes with a digital TV tuner.

The other features of the Qosmio G30/97 include: : harman/kardon speakers, latest edition of Microsoft Office Personal 2007, Microsoft Office OneNote 2007 etc.

Alienware has announced their latest laptop “The Area-51 m5790”.

The Area-51 m5790 laptop features a 17-inch widescreen (1920 x 1200) and comes with Windows XP pre-installed but you can upgrade it when Windows Vista hits on January 30th with 50 % discount.

The m5790 boasts a Core 2 Duo processor, up to 2GB DDR2 667MHz RAM, a Blu-ray optical drive with max of 200GB dual HDD, ATI Mobility Radeon X1900 graphics with 256 MB memory.

Pricing and availability for Area-51 m5790 has not yet been sent but we expect to hit stores in February.

At CES, Dell comissioned artist Mike Lavalee to airbrush an XPS M1710 laptop with artwork inspired by the World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade expansion, which will be available next week.

Both the limited edition laptops will be auctioned off in order to support World Harvest, an international humanitarian relief organization.

The artwork depicts the two new Blood Elf and Drainei races to be released in the Crusade expansion.

Hewlett-Packard has announced at the 2007 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) the HP Pavilion tx1000 Tablet PC. The TX1000 features an AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual Core processor, an integrated NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 graphics with up to 128MB of shared memory, a 2GB main memory, a 160GB HDD spinning at 5400rpm and a DVD burner and a 12.1-inch WXGA widescreen.

Weighing 4.23 pounds, the HP tx1000 laptop also has three USB ports, VGA out and TV out (S-video), an ExpressCard slot, as same as with HP Webcam with integrated microphone and a finger print reader.HP Pavilion tx1000 Tablet PC will ship with Windows Vista Home Premium preinstalled.

HP Pavilion tx1000 will be available for ordering starting Feb 28, 2007 at the price of $1299.
